Hi, I'm Guillaume.

Guillaume playground is my notebook since 2012: detailed build logs of RC gliders and sailboats, and the Linux hacks I needed along the way.

RC builds

I build and fly electric F3F slope gliders (Willow Sor, Harrier, Schwing Corsa), F5J and scale thermal gliders (Art Hobby Scalar, Royal Model Diana 2), usually electrified and with redundant radio and power so they can travel with me to the Alps or the seaside. On the water, I scratch-built a 1:25 Wally 100 Tango and remodelled a Phantom one-metre sailboat — you may meet them on a Sunday morning at the Jardin du Luxembourg pond in Paris.

Computing & hacking

On the other side: Debian and Ubuntu images for Allwinner A10 boards (Mele A2000), bit-perfect audio with MPD and ALSA, a Linux snd-usb-audio patch for Teac UD-501/UD-503 DACs merged upstream in kernel 4.5, Varnish repository caches, SSD firmware tooling, Proxmark3 and custom keyboard firmware.
