This project aims to create a 1:25 Wally 100 Tango model: LOA=1219mm, beam=288mm Covid crisis and minimal ressources: a 28″ screen, openSCAD, some paper, two block of styrofoam, 3mm plywood… and a lot of “week-end” time. Willow Sor… and more precisely an E-Willow Sor. Straight forward build – nothing special except the electric conversion. The initial goal is reached: no lead added with the electric conversion so finally nearly no overweight compared to the non-electric model. This outrunner give me 90watt/lb which is pretty good and more than enough. redundant power
This build is using the e-schwing fuselage to simply make an electric version of the Schwing glider (a Schwing Corsa here), not a hotliner as this fuselage was primary designed for. Finished with a pretty nice result: auw: 2380kg – and it is a Corsa 2.75m 😉 – the original e-schwing 88 was 2600kg in
